Yes - it is used as table salt and warm water. Salt kills germs. I use it for sinus infections, sore throat and swollen gums. There is also a good conditioner when you come to the dental office.

Why would you put on so much medication in your system if you carry a baby? Antimicrobial agents and antibiotics are useless, very hard on your system, and in general, if you have a very bad infection. Do not use antibacterial soap, either. It is extremely harmful to the water, and no better than the old soap and water.
